Quicklink and Ravensbourne collaborate with the Quicklink TX

Quicklink is delighted to announce its collaboration with Ravensbourne, a leading UK higher education institution with a longstanding specialism in design, media, communication and technology.
As part of the collaboration, Quicklink have supplied the Quicklink TX solution to Ravensbourne, allowing the integration of high quality live Skype video calls for entertainment shows, radio and other live video conferencing events.
The Quicklink TX is a video call management system that enables professional reception and transmission of multiple Skype video calls through an SDI and HDMI interface. As the Quicklink TX can receive from and send to any video-enabled device running Skype, this provides broadcasters and any form of content producers unrivalled access to millions of Skype users.
The Quicklink TX, which utilises Skype TX software, will allow students to access this wide-reaching technology and access first-hand how reliable and broadcast quality content can be delivered.
