Sony expands XAVC and SRMASTER format alliance to accelerate 4K content workflow Posted: 26/09/2013

Sony announced at IBC 2013 that Autodesk is the latest member of the production community to adopt its XAVC and SRMASTER (RAW and MXF) format. The 2014 versions of Autodesk® Flame® Premium, Autodesk® Flame®, Autodesk® Smoke® Advanced, Autodesk® Flare¢ and Autodesk® Lustre® software will be capable of both XAVC and SRMASTER format processing to support 4K workflows for creative 3D finishing and colour grading.
