SMPTE Motion Imaging Journal Earns Regional STC Honors, Advances to International Competition Posted: 22/02/2017
The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers(R) (SMPTE(R)), the organization whose standards work has supported a century of technological advances in entertainment technology, today announced that its SMPTE Motion Imaging Journal has earned a Distinction Award from the New York Metro, Philadelphia Metro, Atlanta, and Rochester Chapters of the Society for Technical Communication (STC). By receiving this honor in the STC regional competition, in which entries are judged on technical content, achievement of purpose, and technical execution, the SMPTE Motion Imaging Journal advances to the STC International Summit Awards (ISA) competition.

Olli Tuomela Joins Bridge Technologies as Regional Manager, EMEA Posted: 31/01/2012

Bridge Technologies has appointed Olli Tuomela as Regional Manager for EMEA. Reporting to Sales Director Philip Burnham, Tuomela assumes overall responsibility for sales activities in the region, with resource and logistical support for Bridge Technologies business partner sales.

 
Tuomela joins the company from Finnish IP service provider Scansatel, where he was Technical Director, overseeing a wide range of broadband, IP, and telepresence projects.
