SDVI Hires Andy Brinck as Vice President of Sales Operations and Alliances

SDVI, the industry's leading supplier of cloud-native media supply chain solutions, today announced that Andy Brinck has joined the company as vice president of sales operations and alliances. In this new role at SDVI, Brinck will focus on optimizing the efficiency of the sales organization and on expanding and strengthening relationships with media supply chain and cloud partners for the SDVI Rally cloud-native media supply chain platform.

"Andy joins SDVI at a critical moment in our growth," said SDVI CEO Lawrence Kaplan. "As our business scales up to meet increased demand for media supply chain infrastructure, we are likewise increasing the capacity of our sales team and the formation of strategic partnerships. With his extensive experience and exceptional business acumen, Andy will help guide SDVI in creating innovative short- and long-range strategic business plans and in developing and implementing partner go-to-market initiatives worldwide."

Brinck has 25 years of experience in channel programs and sales and in building technology alliances, primarily in the media and entertainment industry. Prior to joining SDVI, Brinck served as vice president of worldwide channel sales for Veritone, where he launched the company's first channel and tech alliances program to drive sales of its SaaS AI platform and application across media and entertainment, government, and other markets. In this role, he created partner integrations and go-to-market strategies that established additional indirect partner revenue opportunities.

In previous leadership roles at Omneon, Harmonic, and Quantum, Brinck oversaw strategic alliances and worldwide channel sales, consistently introducing programs and tools that improved efficiency and significantly increased overall revenues.

"With its cloud-native media supply chain platform, SDVI has helped some of the industry's largest organizations to transform their operations, achieve unprecedented efficiencies, and realize a host of new workflow and business opportunities," said Brinck. "The company has established its reputation as a trusted guide for media organizations moving to the cloud. I look forward to working with the SDVI team and our growing partner network to help organizations across the industry benefit from the transformational power of the cloud."

Further information about SDVI and the company's Rally platform is available at www.sdvi.com.

CJP Broadcast Reports a Turbulent but Successful 2020 Posted: 02/12/2020
CJP Broadcast Reports a Turbulent but Successful 2020

Multimedia systems integrator, equipment specialist and service provider CJP Broadcast reports a challenging but successful 2020.

“2020 was expected to be the year when 8K became a practical resolution for future-focused TV and digital cine content producers,” comments CJP Broadcast MD Chris Phillips. “Instead the media world, like everyone else, had to face the upheaval of a pandemic. The consequent restrictions on social gathering had one positive effect in encouraging organisations with a strong membership base to explore the potential of television. We’ve been working with several football clubs by making their matches accessible to fans who would otherwise have attended in person. We also successfully completed a video production and live streaming project for the highest-profile semi-finals and final in the UK football calendar. This solution centred on our Live Sports Production System which was deployed to augment the traditional broadcast coverage with behind-the-scenes content. The resultant video content was then made available online for easy access by supporters during and after each match.”

Commemorating United Nations recent annual World Television Day, PlayBox Neo (www.playboxneo.com) reports an ongoing increase in global demand for broadcast channels, both online and on-air. “Mobile viewing devices have become very popular over the years but the number of households with television sets continues to increase around the world,” says PlayBox Neo CEO Pavlin Rahnev. “Broadcast media have played a valuable role in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic by providing information and diversionary entertainment. Black News Channel Mobilizes Flawlessly with the Flexibility of their IP-Based Communications System

Clear-Com’s user-friendly, reliable systems and outstanding customer service contribute to new network’s success.

Debuting in February 2020 during Black History Month, Black News Channel (BNC) operates out of its brand new headquarters facility based in Tallahassee, Florida. BNC is an independent network that is minority-owned and operated, whose mission is to provide intelligent programming dedicated to the unique perspective of African American communities.

Almost immediately after bringing their new purpose-built facility online, the network had to shift to a remote production workflow as COVID restrictions sent people home. The flexible, IP-based comms system from Clear-Com, which had been installed in the facility by BeckTV, was able to flex to meet the comms challenges of today and tomorrow.
