When his clients located in Moscow and Paris seemed to forget that there was a 12 hours time difference and that they were 5,000 miles away and began using head nods and hand signals to show approval for color grades, Jake Blackstone realized that his vision was now reality.

That vision was to build a business around real time, remote color grading. And those clients were nodding and pointing at grades that Jake had just made on his Resolve in LA, from their offices across Europe. All in real time.

Sachtler DSLR Camera Support Short film with artemis Handheld Posted: 08/08/2011
Cinematographer Danna Kinsky chose the artemis Handheld camera stabilizer system from Sachtler and a Canon 7D to shoot the short film The Aerial Girl. Pairing the lightweight camera with the artemis Handheld allowed us to move quickly and keep the audience in the moment, explains Kinsky. The twelve minute- long film tells the story of Tailor, a cool urban teen. Her life is uprooted when her father dies and she moves to her grandfathers ranch with her mother. There she meets Carl, a ranch hand, who turns her life upside down.
