Tel Aviv – July 24, 2020 – Following on the heels of its successful webinar series that ran from spring to mid-summer 2020, TAG Video Systems, has released details, dates and topics for its next line-up launching on July 29th. The Sequel to Part 1 offers a deep dive into topics ranging from operating in a virtual environment to latency issues, all things ‘monitoring’, de-mystifying the alphabet soup of formats and selecting the right hardware for software solutions. TAG’s status as the world leader in 100% SW, 100% IP, 100% COTS/Cloud, Probing, Monitoring and Multiviewing solutions underscores the Company’s ability to produce webinars that tackle real-world challenges by leveraging the extraordinary technical talent and experience of its team mixed with an overall sensitivity to current, topical issues.

This September, for the first time, the UK’s largest photography and moving image event will move from the halls of Birmingham’s NEC to an entirely digital reality. Using the latest technology to create an immersive online experience, The Photography Show & The Video Show Virtual Festival will become the first of its kind in the UK, in response to the changing events landscape worldwide.

The show, which will take place on Sunday 20 and Monday 21 September, is set to take advantage of a specialist virtual platform complete with exhibition halls, theatre, and simulated galleries. The show has already confirmed that global brands including Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Sony, Fujifilm and Olympus will return to the show floor digitally to showcase their latest products and services.

Visitors will be able to attend this year’s show from the comfort of their own home. They will be able to navigate round more than 100 stands, chat to experts, watch kit demos and take advantage of exclusive show discounts. In order to bring its popular programme of speakers to life digitally, the show will use a combination of pre-recorded sessions and live streamed Q&As, as well as Zoom for networking elements of the show. This week saw Atomos announce the ability to record 4Kp60 Apple ProRes RAW over HDMI from the Sony Alpha 7S III to the Ninja V HDR monitor-recorder. Today, we are also showing the first sample footage and a tutorial video for the upcoming RAW firmware release for the Sony PXW-FX9 and Shogun 7 which we announced with Sony a few weeks ago. Shot by well known Sony Independent Certified Expert Alister Chapman; he recorded ProRes RAW on the Shogun 7 over SDI from the PXW-FX9 with XDCA-FX9 expansion pack. The results show excellent detail, dynamic range and color.
