TSL Professional Products Ltd. The show will take place from February 26 through the 28th, at ExCeL London, and will showcase new technologies and services for the broadcast and production industries.

TSL PPL has a vast range of audio monitoring units in its product line, many of which have been installed by major broadcasters across the globe. At BVE, the company will highlight its new Studio Audio Monitoring Solution, SAM1-3GM, MPA and PAM Pico models for the audio monitoring category. The SAM1-3GM, a flexible, intuitive system for broadcasters and content producers alike, offers seamless operation in settings ranging from multi-language and surround sound/stereo production to live sports and event broadcasting.
The Monitor Plus Audio (MPA) family offers robust entry-level audio monitoring, with the same performance elements found in TSL PPLs high-end confidence monitoring line. At BVE, the MPA1-3G, which provides comprehensive de-embedding capabilities and accepts any SD or HD-SDI signal up to and including 3G, will be on display. TSL will also exhibit the MPA1-ASB+ and ASC+ units, which come in dual or eight stereo input versions and are built around a brand-new hardware platform. Recent enhancements to the MPA1-ASB+ and ASC+ units include upgraded power amplifiers and speakers for improved clarity, as well as a master volume control that can also be used to set levels sent to an external monitoring system.
The PAM PiCo is a compact, comprehensively equipped standalone audio and loudness meter featuring the revolutionary StarFish¢ surround sound display. Simple to use and easy to configure, PAM PiCo puts high-quality metering within reach of anyone involved in sound production, from operators working in broadcast production to music studio technicians and record producers. No larger than a smartphone, PAM PiCo handles stereo or 5.1 metering with a vast array of user-selectable bar graphs. All three versions of the PAM PiCo are equipped with loudness measurement tools compatible with EBU, ITU and ATSC recommendations, AES and analogue audio inputs, moving coil meter emulation and the option for either a desk or rack-mount configuration.
TSL PPL has also recently acquired SoundField Ltd., a leading surround sound microphone and audio processing technology manufacturer. TSL PPL will exhibit SoundFields range of surround microphones and upmix/downmix solutions at BVE 2013. This acquisition allows the company to expand its product portfolio to support 5.1 audio in the broadcast workflow.
The TSL PPL TallyMan product range, also on display at BVE, provides seamless cross-equipment communications for the broadcast industry. The TallyMan line connects to all of a systems crucial infrastructure components, including routers, vision switchers, cameras, audio monitoring, power distribution and talkback systems. The sophisticated TallyMan tally systems provide users with configuration programmes backed by full, comprehensive product support. TSL PPLs new TallyMan Control Panel (TCP) will also be on hand.
Joining TSL PPL at BVE 2013 will be the companys Vertical Intelligent Power (VIP) range of Mains Distribution Units (MDU). The new VIP stays true to the traditional functionality of TSL PPLs Power Management MDUs, but adds a fresh, vertical modular format, enabling streamlined installation. The unit is ideal for broadcast, IT and AV installations in need of fail-safe power distribution management.
