TV Cultura Brazil Prepares for the Future with Grass Valley

Brazil’sTV Cultura has selected Grass Valley, a Belden Brand, to enhance its production workflow with a newly expanded playout infrastructure. The broadcaster is now equipped with more channels, higher resolution content and smoother integration – supporting its vision to deliver richer content to its viewers.

Grass Valley installed its latest K2 Summit 3GTransmission Client media server, enabling TV Cultura to take complete control of live event workflows and broadcast applications, as well as facilitate the delivery of file-based infrastructure and high-performance file operations that run simultaneously. The server supports four channels for scalable audio mapping,up/down/cross and aspect ratio conversion,and hundreds of hours of content storage. The K2 Summit 3G also easily handles all of the broadcaster’s playout requirements.

TV Cultura now has a complete end-to-end Grass Valley acquisition and production workflow, which includes sixLDX 80 Flex cameras, a GV STRATUS video production and content management solution, and EDIUS editing software.
