Drawing its audience from across the Middle East, North Africa and on into south-east Asia, CABSAT (17 – 19 May, Dubai World Trade Centre) is the region’s largest event for the creative, broadcast, pro AV and satellite communities. Bringing the most innovative and practical solutions, a group of 15 British businesses are exhibiting at CABSAT on the GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland pavilion managed by Tradefair.
CABSAT expects more than 10,000 visitors from 120 countries. The British group covers the complete spectrum of engineering, commercial and creative tools and applications.
Argosy is a leading supplier of cables, connectors and critical broadcast infrastructure components, with a sales office and large stockholding in Dubai. disguise has shot to prominence with its stunning extended reality software creation and realisation tools. Domo is the supplier of technically-advanced wireless camera connectivity, allowing cameras to be placed anywhere.
ETL Systems designs and manufactures RF equipment for satellite ground stations and microwave links. GB Labs is a global leader in intelligent media storage for creatives working in video production and delivery. Mark Roberts Motion Control is regarded as a world leader in motion control camera rigs for precisely repeatable moves, an increasingly important requirement in volumetric production.
Milexia (formerly Sematron) has more than 30 years’ experience in satellite uplinks and network management. Mo-Sys is a world leader in camera tracking and image robotics, and in virtual and remote production. Novella SatComs provides a broad range of solutions for satellite tracking, uplinks and test translators for commercial and military applications.
Open Broadcast Solutions develops encoding and decoding software solutions to accelerate the delivery of premium content over IP. Pebble is a globally successful provider of automation, playout and management solutions for broadcast enterprises large and small. Spacepath Communicationsdesigns, manufactures and supports a broad range of uplink amplifiers and associated equipment for satellite operators.
Synamedia has seized on the benefits of cloud processing and storage to develop transformative video solutions and workflows. Telestream develops products for media processing and workflow orchestration, with much of the software now available for cloud implementation as well as on premises. And TSL Products has a well-established reputation for innovative control and monitoring systems for IT-based workflows and audio.
“The Middle East and surrounding region is a hugely vibrant, dynamic marketplace for content creation and competitive broadcasting,” said Mark Birchall, Managing Director of Tradefair. “CABSAT has always been a very important date on our calendar, and we are delighted to be heading back to Dubai after the enforced absence of the last couple of years.
“The pavilion participants are very keen to get back to face-to-face meetings with the community in the region,” he added. “We take the burden of administration off their shoulders, allowing them to concentrate on catching up with old friends and establishing new contacts, building strong and lasting business success.”
