The GREAT Britain and Northern Ireland pavilion is thrilled to return to Dubai for CABSAT, the Middle East’s ultimate event for the broadcast, satellite, media and entertainment industry. During the coronavirus pandemic, UK media technology companies have worked hard on digital platforms to promote their products and services. CABSAT 2021 is their first opportunity to be back face to face at an international event and showcase their latest innovations and exclusive products.
At CABSAT, the world’s most pivotal names in satellite, media, production, entertainment and technology are to reconnect, live, in person. More than 160 companies and brands from 38 countries will present the latest trends and ideas that will alter the course of the content journey – in a transformed world.
Mark Birchall, Managing Director of Tradefair, said, “After missing events for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, it’s great to be at CABSAT. It is an important platform for the broadcast, media and satellite industry, as it allows businesses to identify trends and expand upon an already proficient industry. We are honoured to be a part of generating substantial new awareness and new business opportunities for our UK group.”
On behalf of techUK, and with support from the Department of International Trade (DIT), Tradefair has successfully organised an extensive programme of supported overseas exhibitions for UK businesses since 1989. Tradefair offers full logistical support from start to finish, including securing premium space, stand construction, and providing a dedicated project manager throughout the event to assist exhibitors each step of the way.
GB Labs will be exhibiting on stand G2-27, debuting their Unify Hub, the new storage management platform and showcasing its SPACE, FastNAS and Cloak DR solutions. GB Labs will also attend this year’s show with its new partner, broadcast services provider and systems integrator PROLANE, who specialises in offering technology services, AV, and broadcast systems, alongside comprehensive technical support, to customers in the MENA market.
Broadcast Wireless Systems (BWS) is also joining the UK pavilion at CABSAT 2021, on stand G2-26. BWS will be demonstrating two highly anticipated new solutions designed to advance the broadcast industry — the Onyx IP encoder and the Sapphire-BTX Camera-back Transmitter.
ETL is returning to CABSAT for the 10th time. This year on the UK pavilion, stand G2-25, they are showcasing the 1U Genus RF distribution modular chassis at CABSAT. This compact, multi-functional ground-segment technology has been designed to make the leap to MEO and LEO constellations possible, both in terms of performance and cost.
Pebble will be at the show once again to reconnect with customers and showcase its new product range. The company’s solutions control more than 400 channels across 17 countries at around 70 sites in the Middle East. Pebble’s main showcase at CABSAT will be Pebble Control, which it claims makes IP connectivity as simple as SDI. Find Pebble on the UK pavilion on stand G2-23.
Find Vislink and Mobile Viewpoint at this year’s CABSAT 2021 event, demonstrating All-IP Wireless Streaming. Their onsite team will be in two locations on the show floor: stand 107, where they will have a complete suite of products on display, and on the UK pavilion, stand A2-31.
