Digital Alert Systems at the 2017 NAB Show Product Preview Posted: 10/03/2017

Ed Czarnecki, the company's senior director of strategic development and global government affairs and a key architect of the Advanced Emergency Alerting protocol, will present an insider's view into the progress of ATSC 3.0's Advanced Emergency Alerting capability. Czarnecki and fellow panelists will address both the technology and the workflow behind Advanced Emergency Alerting, and how TV stations can use it to better communicate urgent information to targeted audiences while also driving new value-added opportunities. The 30-minute panel discussion will focus on how emergency alerting fits into the ATSC 3.0 suite of standards, practical steps to implementation, the results of recent 3.0 demonstrations and pilots, and a preview of what is coming next.

BCE purchases SAMs Enterprise sQ for new RTL Tele Letzebuerg facility in Luxembourg Posted: 03/05/2016

SAM today announces that Broadcasting Center Europe (BCE), a system integrator and part of RTL Group, has purchased SAMs Enterprise sQ news and sports production system to bring content on air quickly for RTL Tele Letzebuerg, the national television channel of Luxembourg. The Enterprise sQ system will be tightly integrated with MBT MAM and playout automation. BCE will install the system in RTL Tele Letzebuergs new facilities in Luxembourg, which is scheduled to go live at the end of 2016.

SKY Brasil increases channel count with SAM routing technology Posted: 22/03/2016

SAM announced today that SKY Brasil, the largest Pay-TV operator via satellite in Brazil, headquartered in Sao Paulo, has purchased Sirius 840 and 850 routers to increase its channel count and deliver greater content to millions of viewers in Brazil. The Sirius 840 router is housed in SKYs current facility in Alphaville and the Sirius 850 will be housed in its newly built facility in Jaguariuna. The routers were supplied via SAMs regional partner LineUp Broadcast Systems.
