Video Europe needed an early delivery of the new console for its live coverage of the season-opening match between English Football League Championship clubs Nottingham Forest and Burton Albion.

Video Europe, the specialist broadcast rental firm, has today announced that it has bolstered its existing Sony camera line up with a multi -million investment in Sonys HDC-2500 system cameras. The 40 channels of Sonys HDC-2500s will be utilised across Video Europes rapidly expanding dry hire, specialist projects and OB businesss as it scales up its portfolio to exploit on an expected high demand in 2014. This investment rounds off a year of continued expansion for Video Europe which has committed over £4 million in Sonys latest camera technologies.
