New 360 VR Tools From Timecode Systems and 360RIZE Combine to Offer the Most Streamlined PRO VR Acquisition Solution on the Market Posted: 11/04/2017
Timecode Systems and 360RIZE have joined forces to develop a unique virtual reality (VR) acquisition solution that delivers the efficiency benefits of professional standard timecode synchronization to VR and 360 filming. Dubbed SyncBac VR, the companies' joint solution combines a new, bespoke 360RIZE multicamera rig, designed to house GoPro(TM) HERO4 cameras with SyncBac PRO units attached, with VR-friendly updates to Timecode Systems' SyncBac PRO sync product for GoPro cameras and its BLINK Hub app.

During my recent visit to BVE, the annual media and entertainment technology tradeshow in London, I was lucky enough to attend a seminar hosted by 360 Designs CEO and founder Alx Klive. The keynote was about Virtual Reality cameras (VR cameras) and the impact theyre having within the creative industries an effect that is already massive and continues to grow at a fast pace.
