IBC2012 Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company, is sponsoring IBC Rising Stars, an innovative IBC2012 programme designed to encourage and inspire students, newcomers and young professionals to enter the broadcast, pro-video and cinematography industries.
The Rising Stars Programme, which will run from 9-10 September during IBC2012, provides participants with the opportunity to network, increase their knowledge and hear about the latest industry trends. Rising Stars who sign up to the programme will have the chance see the latest equipment, understand some of the complex issues facing the industry and share the IBC experience.

How to shoot a non-boring corporate film by Sebastian Wiegrtner, looking at how to approach a corporate shoot and choose the right equipment
Two different approaches at narrative filmmaking by Nino Leitner, examining the cinematography of the narrative short films Homophobia (2012) and 13:59 (2011)
Basic DSLR Filmmaking by Philip Bloom, investigating the current state of play and why there is still a place for these cameras in the filmmaking market
Interviewing techniques will see Philip Bloom explain how to achieve a good interview drawing on his own experiences and examples of his work
