Hulu in Japan selects Bitmovin to deliver next-generation online experiences

Bitmovin, a world leader in online video technology, announces that Hulu in Japan, a leader of online video streaming service operated by HJ Holdings, Inc. Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Hiroyuki Oho, hereinafter referred to as HJ, in collaboration with PLAY Inc., a leading company of Online Video Platform in Japan (Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President: Kazumichi Kuroda, hereinafter referred to as PLAY) have selected Bitmovin Encoding to deliver high-quality video to any device at massively optimized bitrates. The solution was delivered by Bitmovin’s appointed Japanese integration partner Itochu Cable Systems, (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Kenji Tsuchiya, hereinafter referred to as ICS), with further technical support provided by Bitmovin’s global solutions and engineering team.
