Any Cinematographers who want to capture the special light in this limited time frame must be able to quickly and dependably work with their equipment. That is why Italian cinematographer Maura Morales Bergmann depended on the versatile 2575 fluid head by OConnor, a part of Vitec Videcom, a Vitec Group company, to shoot the French short film Lheure bleue by director Annarita Zambarano last year.

Bertie Gregory and Sachtler Ace M on Vancouver Island Posted: 16/10/2013
Bertie Gregory and Sachtler Ace M on Vancouver Island
For more than two years, Bertie Gregory, the nineteen-year-old wildlife videographer from England, shot the fauna on Vancouver Island, Canada. This island, the largest in the Pacific in North America, is not only home to black bears, one of Gregory's main focuses. Wolves, pumas, and whales can also be found there. The young filmmaker recently finished his almost 16-minute documentary, West Coast Adventure, in which he also narrates and presents about black bears on the island. Since he did not want the bears to feel threatened or scared in their habitat, he shot from a boat with his Nikon D7000. For a firm stand, the wildlife filmmaker depended upon the lightweight and robust Ace M tripod system by Sachtler, part of Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company.

Captivating Witnesses: John Rose and Sachtler Ace M
That tingling in their stomach is a thousand butterflies. They are waiting to be freed by those magic words and to fly into the sky. It's not about "I love you". Much more magical are the words: "I do!" A vow seals the marriage, and a video captures this unique day: It gives the couple memories. This is exactly what fascinates wedding and event videographer John Rose: "Every individual event is fantastic. People spend months or even years planning this day." With the Ace M tripod system by Sachtler, part of Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company, Rose records the wedding butterflies that always accompany the couple.

Take advantage of every minute with the Sachtler Ace Posted: 03/07/2012
Take advantage of every minute with the Sachtler Ace

Markus Uhls principal line of work is actually as a PR consultant. However, he also works as a cinematographer in the low-budget ENG industry. He developed the regional TV-Internet platform hersbruck.tv himself. He normally produces the videos himself as well. The self-taught cinematographer puts together videos about local issues concerning politics, sports, business, society, and events for hersbruck.tv. His work also includes live broadcasts on big screens, product videos, and image films. All aspects of production are in his hands: Everything from concept, camera, props, sound, models, lighting, script, editing, customer contact to uploading. As of late, the Ace tripod system by Sachtler has also been a part of production. Sachtler is part of Vitec Videocom and a Vitec Group company. "I've realized again and again how important sound-free and smooth movements and a dependable camera set-up are. The quality of a production suffers when footage cannot be used due to squeaking, a jerk, or an unwanted pan," says Markus Uhl.
