OConnor Takes Mathers Through Battlefields for 1000 to 1
Cinematographer James Mathers often chooses projects that have passion, heart, and a positive message. Such was the case of his latest production, 1000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story. For the inspiring true comeback story of a gifted college basketball player felled by a catastrophic stoke, Mathers knew his shooting package had to perform flawlessly. Thats why he chose the RED Epic paired with Angenieux, Zeiss, and Fujinon lenses, along with the OConnor 2575 for support.OConnor is part of Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company.

OConnor 120EX Shines in Antarctica for Digital 3D Productions

Digital 3D, a Los Angeles-based production company is known for taking their gear on wild rides. Its Emmy-winning Director of Photography/Producer Ken Corben, pushes boundaries so that viewers can experience worlds they would never get to see on their own. Earlier this year, Corben and a crew of ten departed Ushuaia, Argentina for the Antarctic Peninsula aboard the 74 sailboat, Pelagic Australis. Their mission was to shoot penguin colonies underwater, from the air and on land/ice with a shooting package that included their 3D Epic beam-splitter with Zeiss and Nikon primes supported by the 120EX fluid head from OConnor, part of Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company.
