KitPlus TV News: NAB 2023 - 4th April 2023

In this week's KitPlus TV News we report on the latest news on the upcoming event NAB Show, taking place on the 16 - 19th April in Las Vegas.

First up we talk about Magewell (0:30), who is exhibiting on booth C5031 and will demonstrate new products and updates across all three of its core portfolios – capture, conversion and streaming – that seamlessly bridge signals, software, streams and screens. newsbridge (1:02) are on booth W2073 and has announced a cutting-edge new AI landmark detection capability for indexing and searching media assets. nxtedition (1:31) makes its debut at NAB on booth C1819 where it will demonstrate that the workflow of the future is available today.

Pronology (1:54) will be presenting an updated version of StreamFile Core on Booth W2717. Marshall Electronics (2:17) continues to evolve its product offerings with the latest NDI codecs and will be showcasing four new camera models at NAB 2023 (Booth C5520). On booth N2225, Evertz (2:48) will show new features for its 12G-SDI NEXX next generation processing routing solution.

Rohde & Schwarz (3:13) is returning to NAB on booth N1949 with important additional functionality introduced across the whole media portfolio. Vislink (3:39) will debut its ultracompact Cliq OFDM Mobile Transmitter for the first time on Booth W1731. FingerWorks™ (4:08) Telestrators is introducing its new FingerWorks Computer Vision software on N1810.

PlayBox Neo (4:22) will demonstrate the latest additions to its range of broadcast TV channel branding and playout solutions on Booth C2427. Miller Tripods (4:41) will showcase its new SkyX 8 fluid head, Booth C4221. GB Labs (4:59) has announced the release of Unify Hub Generation 2, a global unified file system that allows users to optimise, adapt and secure their on-premise, cloud and remote workflows.

Cinedeck (5:25) has launched Connector, a visual workflow creator, that requires no programming skillset to deploy and will demo the new solution at NAB. Telestream® (5:45) (booth W1501) will now offer its industry-leading Lightspeed Live Capture multichannel video capture and processing solution as software-only. Chyron (6:24) has announced that version 1.3 of the Chyron LIVE cloud-native live production platform and will be making its debut on booth N2647.

MwareTV (6:44) will show how it can provide everything needed for a streaming television service in a single contract – from programming to client apps, on booth W1367. As NAB marks the 100th anniversary of its foundation, a group of 24 leading British companies (7:09) have grouped together to bring the best media technology to the show floor. The TONE® Knows and VidOvation (7:33) has announced a partnership to integrate TONE’s direct-to-device marketing and analytics technology platform with VidOvation products and services in the broadcast, production, streaming, and Pro AV markets.

Vizrt and Imagine Communications (8:03) has announced a partnership to integrate Viz Vectar Plus cloud live production solution with the Imagine Aviator™ Make TV cloud playout solution. Pebble (8:26) will be on W3759 showcasing its market-leading playout automation and integrated channel solutions. Vislink (8:42) will debut an exciting remote broadcasting innovation on W1731.

More on booth W1501 now, where you will find Telestream (9:08) who has announced Telestream Content Manager™. Ikegami (9:38) will unveil a brand new, very affordable, IP/HFR camera on booth C3819. Ross Video (10:04) has announced that its theme for the 2023 NAB Show, "From idea to audience, let’s make it real," will highlight the production possibilities unlocked by the range of solutions the company is bringing to this year's show.
