Perifery Taps Seasoned Industry Professionals to Propel Growth in Edge Markets

Strategic New Appointments Strengthen Perifery’s Position as a Leading Provider of Edge Devices and Solutions for Media and Entertainment

Perifery, a division of DataCore, announced today that it has appointed three experienced industry professionals to its team to boost the company’s penetration and sales in high-growth edge markets, including media and entertainment. The company has named Seth Cohen as vice president of sales in the Americas, as well as Jordan Woods and Lenny Khaitov as senior solutions architects. Building a highly experienced, talented team significantly strengthens Perifery’s presence in the media and entertainment market, accelerates the company’s vision of enhancing the user journey from core to the edge and cloud, and assures superior solutions for customers.

“Perifery is growing by leaps and bounds, and it’s important that we invest in a team with a wealth of experience so that we can continue on that same track,” said Abhijit Dey, general manager and chief operating officer of Perifery. “The addition of Seth, Lenny, and Jordan adds to the team of subject matter experts attained from our recent Object Matrix acquisition. All of our new team members have strong records for delivering outstanding results; they will help us bring innovation to high-growth edge markets and further expand our growing customer base.”

In addition to Dey, the Perifery leadership team includes Dave Zabrowski, CEO and president; Alex Grossman, vice president of product management and marketing; Nick Pearce, vice president of sales in EMEA; Kevin Thimble, chief financial officer of DataCore; and Jonathan Morgan, founder and managing director of Object Matrix.

Prior to joining Perifery, Cohen held a senior sales position at Seagate Technology. With more than 20 years of experience working as a national and international sales leader, he has developed winning sales programs and initiatives for innovative technology companies, including OpenDrives, Western Digital, Quantum, Apple, and more.

Both Khaitov and Woods previously worked at NetApp as a hybrid cloud solution specialist and a technical solutions specialist in data-centric workloads (AI/ML), respectively. Woods brings to Perifery more than 20 years of experience in developing and implementing complex storage solutions for real-time applications, specializing in large and demanding unstructured data industries. He has co-founded several startups that offer world-class service and support, exceptional product innovation, and strong customer retention programs. Khaitov has extensive expertise in broadcast solutions design, product development, and project management, with an extensive network of media and entertainment connections.

Perifery offers cost-predictable storage, AI services, and pre-processing technology for high-growth edge markets. The company is backed by worldwide distribution; certified channel partners; and a talented group of world-class engineering, sales, and marketing executives.

Perifery will showcase its latest innovations in workflow solutions at the 2023 NAB Show in Las Vegas at booth N1331. More information about Perifery is available at www.perifery.com.
