PIXELLOT RELEASES LIVE STREAMING ON PIXELLOT AIR MOBILE CAMERA, BRINGING LIVE COVERAGE TO ALL LEVELS

Pixellot, the world’s leading provider of AI-Automated™ sports video and analytics solutions, announces today the release of the live streaming functionality on all its mobile Pixellot Air cameras. In addition to capturing and tracking games and practices, all teams will now also be able to stream live footage to boost their visibility on the world’s most robust live sports platform.

Pixellot Air is a portable and lightweight battery-operated camera that is placed at the halfway line and covers the entire field of play. Pixellot’s AI algorithms automatically record the game and create highlights. The technology allows coaches to stream and analyze the game on any platform including Pixellot’s analytics platform - VidSwap.

Alon Werber Pixellot CEO said: “We’re excited to extend our live production offering to our mobile camera Pixellot Air. Pixellot’s objective has always been to make live sports available to everyone. The new live streaming option will improve teams’ visibility and enable talent scouts to find the hidden gems across academies, clubs and teams, no matter where they are.”

He added: “Livestreaming thousands of games every day is a complex operation to scale and requires extensive experience and a robust infrastructure. Our 9 years of expertise in live production has proven to be an invaluable asset that will ensure that every Pixellot Air user, new and existing, will be able to livestream their team and connect fans, families and communities to the game.”

The new feature was first used with Pixellot’s official partner in Japan, NTTSportict, a leading provider of video content production and distribution to sports facilities and organizations that owns and operates the brand “Stadium Tube”.

“Japanese users of Pixellot Air have eagerly awaited the live streaming function,” said Masatoshi Nakamura CEO at NTTSportict. “We are sure this innovative update will make shooting and distribution of sports more exciting and familiar not only for our existing customers, but also for sports teams using Pixellot Air for the first time. We'll do our best to widely spread this solution to grassroot sports teams around Japan.”

Pixellot Air Live will be immediately available to all current Pixellot livestreaming clients, and gradually extended to all Pixellot Air users as well, without any hardware upgrades. Users will be able to live stream using a cellular modem, ethernet connection or Wi-Fi which will be available later in the year.
