RaceTech Chooses Trilogy for Next-Generation HD OB Trucks Trilogy Communications, the global provider of digital intercom systems and Master Reference Generators to the broadcast industry, has received an order from Megahertz Broadcast Systems for three Commander matrix intercoms for three new High-Definition (HD) Outside Broadcast (OB) vehicles destined to provide the production facilities for Racing UK Ltd, the premier independent horseracing broadcaster in the UK and Ireland. The high-specification trucks that will be designed and built by MHz are due to be deployed in the first quarter of next year with the 2011 Cheltenham Festival in March expected to be the first major horseracing fixture to be shown in HD by terrestrial broadcaster, Channel 4.

Eve from her ruins: Motion Picture with the SOOM tripod system from Sachtler Troumaron, a run-down quarter in the suburbs of Port-Louis, the capital city of Mauritius: The life of four young people in an area of the city marked by sadness and unemployment becomes a fight for survival. The escape to another country fails and ends in a catastrophe. In the novel, "Eve de ses d©combres" ("Eve from her ruins"), the Mauritian author Ananda Devi paints a sad picture of the tourist paradise. In Mauritius, the Swiss-Polish cinematographer Piotr Jaxa made a motion picture based on this story. Shooting was done with a Sony EX3 accompanied by the SOOM tripod system and the FSB 8 fluid head from Sachtler, a Vitec Group brand.
