Camera Corps Announces Q-Pac Modular Video Production System
Building on Camera Corps' long experience in supplying state-of-the art remote multi-camera systems, Q-Pac is designed for the smaller production where costs and space are constrained. It is a modular system packaged within a 2 x 20U rolling case which can integrate up to 20 incoming camera feeds. Feeds can be monitored and logged using a powerful combination of an Evertz EQT router and VIP multiviewers, then recorded on a server system such as a Simply Live ViBox or an EVS XT3.

Camera Corps will debut a major addition to its range of miniature robotic camera systems at the April 9-12 NAB Show in Las Vegas. The new Qx is a compact weatherproof head with integral pan/tilt/zoom/focus drives. Delivering high video quality, it offers producers the freedom to cut and mix with video feeds from full-size studio and outside-broadcast cameras. Black-finished and just 125 mm in diameter, the Qx is unobtrusive enough to be operated within view of other cameras both for studio productions and in OB coverage of live events. It can also be used as part of a commentator camera setup.

A UHD version operating at four times real-time is also available. The camera will be demonstrated on the Vitec Group exhibit (C6025) in the Central Hall at the April 9-12 NAB Show in Las Vegas.

Camera Corps captures Isle of Man TT excitement for North One Television
Over 25 cameras and solid-state recorders from Camera Corps captured the excitement of 2014 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy motorcycle races during the two-week event from Saturday May 24 to Friday June 6. Working in close partnership with North One Television for ITV 4, Camera Corps provided a wide range of specialised equipment including forward and rear-facing motorcycle-mounted cameras, approach and recede kerb-cams and various high-level wide-angle cameras around the course. Multiple HD on-board mini cams also provided driver's-eye views of Mark Higgins' record-breaking lap of the course in a Subaru WRX STi.

Produced in partnership with Sony Pictures Television, it is scheduled for transmission in March.
