Ovyo names Colin Morrison as Chief Revenue Officer

Ovyo, a fast-growing video software, integration and delivery services company, has named Colin Morrison as its first Chief Revenue Officer.

Colin, who joins from VIDA, brings a long experience working in the video industry including heading up commercial teams at XPERI, Microsoft and Ericsson.

Colin will be based in The Netherlands and will be responsible for introducing Ovyo’s services to new video and telecoms operators, broadcasters, studios and vendors globally. His hiring comes as Ovyo expands its offering of long-term Professional Services outsourcing services to complement its existing software, integration and delivery services covering areas such as Architecture, Development, Project Management, QA and DevOps. Ovyo currently has delivery teams in India, South Africa and Portugal and Colin will be working closely with Ovyo’s Chief Growth Officer, Adam Tilbury-Eld.

Pav Kudlac, CEO of Ovyo, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Colin to Ovyo, not least just before the IBC show where he can meet many of our customers. It’s testament to the great work the whole team has done and the exciting culture we’ve built since we launched in 2020 that we’ve been able to attract someone of Colin’s calibre. We’re particularly excited that Colin’s broad experience and network will help us tailor more services to help an even bigger part of the industry we love.”

Commenting on his appointment, Colin said: “I am thrilled to be joining Ovyo as Chief Revenue Officer, with the explicit goal of helping take the business to the next level. Having known Pav and Adam prior to the launch of Ovyo, it was a pleasure to see them succeeding, even in the face of the pandemic. Working with such a dedicated and fun team at a time when the industry is experiencing considerable change was an opportunity too good to miss.”
