Apantac Debuts T# Multiviewer Enhancements at NAB 2023

Increases input/output capacity; Adds NDI support; Cascadable to build larger systems

Apantac, manufacturer of multiviewers, video walls, extension and signal processing solutions and celebrating 15-years of innovation, will showcase a number of enhancements to its flagship T# Multiviewer platform at NAB2023, booth N2038.

Designed with flexibility and cost-effectiveness in mind, the T# Multiviewers are considered one of the most versatile Multiviewers on the market today. With the T#, a user can build the Multiviewer that they need by choosing from a selection of input and output boards, or from a selection of pre-configured models. T# offers I/O boards supporting all the latest standards and formats. Input support includes HDMI 2.0/1.4, 12G/3G/HD/SD SDI, CVBS, H.264 and NDI. Output support up to UHD includes: HDMI 2.0/1.4 for 2160/1080P, and up to 12G SDI.

Based on customer feedback and demand, T# now supports up to 128 inputs and 16 outputs. This is accomplished by the new cascading feature, allowing users to cascade two 4RU frames together for larger system installations.

Also new for NAB is T#’s support for NDI – network device interface. The new NDI support means that T# can interface with video devices connected over an IP network. The flexibility of T# goes far beyond simply choosing input and outputs. Users can mix & match a variety of signal types (SDI, HDMI, IP, NDI) for multi-image display processing and monitoring on a single, or multiple displays, without any external conversion.

T#’s unique and high bandwidth universal mid plane architecture allows any type of future format to be added by simply plugging in a new hot swappable input board, making it truly future-proof. T# supports 3rd party routers and production switchers, utilizes a flexible and simple skin technology that allows users to customize their on-screen display of graphics including; borders, labels, fonts, tally LEDs, clock faces, logos, embedded audio, discrete audio meters and audio / video alarms.  Video windows on the display may include multiple labels, and support UMD, OMD, IMD and standalone labels.

Apantac will be showcasing these new enhancements in the T# Multiviewers at upcoming events during the year, including NAB2023, booth N2038.
