Perry Littman Wins 2024 Chyron Designer of the Year

Chyron has named Perry Littman the 2023 Chyron Designer of the Year for EMEA and APAC. Littman is on the team at MOOV Limited, where he engages in design work for top-tier clients, often using Chyron PRIME.

“I am truly honored to accept such an amazing award from one of the leaders in live-to-air graphics,” said Littman of the accolade from Chyron, which recognizes professionals who bring their personal best to fully utilize Chyron products.

At MOOV, Littman prepares and plays out broadcast graphics using various systems, including Chyron PRIME, in a live and post-production environment for some of the industry’s largest companies, such as BT/TNT Sport, CBS, BBC, and ITV Sport. He has worked on live shows for UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, English Premier League, European Football, National League, and European Rugby.

“Making great products with a robust design feature set is only part of the equation,” said Carol Bettencourt, vice president of marketing at Chyron. “We are extremely grateful for those, like Perry, who bring out the best in those features.”

Littman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in sports performance analysis and a Master of Science degree in performance analysis for football, both from the University of Suffolk. Supplementing his formal education, he has earned numerous industry certifications. Littman has honed his skills within Chyron Academy and is a dual Black Belt, having reached the highest level of competency for both Chyron PRIME and PAINT.

Chyron Designer of the Year Awards were launched in 2023, with one award, for the
Americas, being designated in April, and another award, for EMEA and APAC, being designated in September. Awards are based on an evaluation by Chyron experts of a graphics package and showreel submitted by applicants. Applications for the spring 2024 award will be accepted starting Feb. 1, 2024. Applications for the fall 2024 awards will be accepted starting June 1, 2024.
