LYNX Technik Showcases Latest Advancements in Broadcast Signal Processing Solutions at the Media Production Technology Show 2024

LYNX Technik, provider of modular signal processing solutions, will be exhibiting at the upcoming Media Production & Technology Show in Olympia London May 15-16, 2024. The company will be showcasing the latest advancements in its yellobrik, greenMachine, and LynxCentraal products, providing attendees an opportunity to explore its technological innovations powering content production in the UK today.

LYNX Technik’s yellobrik and greenMachine equipment, all designed and manufactured in Germany, finds application in various markets including broadcast, post-production, live events and sports production as well as installed and temporary AV systems. Global media, IT, technology, subsea, aerospace, defence/security and government users worldwide also rely on LYNX equipment in their infrastructures for critical and dependable signal processing, conversion, monitoring and distribution in both copper and fiber optic systems. They are extensively used for live events and in sports production environments, where confidence in reliability and stability is essential for delivering seamless coverage to audiences.

greenMachine is a powerful processing platform that offers flexibility through deployable licences. Functionality includes UPXD, FS, colour and video correction, audio embedding/de-embedding and processing, multiple timing adjustments, dynamic test pattern generation, Audio/Video synchronisation analysis and correction; and the multiple award-winning Evie+ HDR <> SDR real time conversion. Each ‘Constellation’ (or function set) can be enabled with a simple licence key. Licences can be changed within each greenMachine or swapped to different greenMachines as production circumstances require, reducing the amount of equipment and re-racking for different productions or locations.

The yellobrik range uniquely includes a locking and powering rack frame with redundant power option; and the ethernet interface Rack Controller and Server yellobrik modules allow remote configuration and monitoring, with full SNMPv2 compatibility for third party integration. The celebrated range includes SDI<>HDMI conversion, embedding/de-embedding, frame synchronisation, UPXD and 12G format conversion, distribution, and the industries widest range of fibre converters for 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G, 48G-SDI, 4K HDMI, Analogue Sync, 1/10G ethernet, MADI and RS/GPIO. Stand alone or fully integrated, there is a yellobrik solution.

LynxCentraal, unifies the classic yelloGUI, APPolo (series 5000) and greenGUI configuration and control interfaces into a single free application. As well as the familiar graphical configuration screens it provides a powerful AutoControl function to monitor and react to events within the whole LYNX infrastructure. Full SNMPv2 compatibility enables integration with virtually any automation system. Also included, Custom Control gives users the power to create and assign authority levels to customised control screens for operational or configuration use. Full 'backup and restore' and 'copy paste' configuration tools are included across the LYNX environment.

The Media Production and Technology Show brings together representatives from the UK media and broadcast industries. The interactive exhibition and seminar programme covers all aspects of content production, including pre-production, lighting, audio, technology, post and sports broadcasting. Executives from all areas of the industry attend to network with their peers, discover the latest product innovations and hear cutting-edge insights from leading industry speakers.
